Help Me Get New Legs

Hi everyone, my name is Kai and I'm 23. When I was 19 I had bacterial meningitis and lost both my legs, and a couple fingers. I'm in kidney failure, which often leaves me very exhausted and tired.
I work part time and receive disability but its not enough for prosthetic legs. I have to pay 20% of my costs which just for my sockets is about $4,000.
I would really love to get new feet as well, I currently have very basic feet that have minor flexibility in the ankle, and no energy return meaning I can only walk. I would love to a pair of feet that allow me to run, bike, and just get around easier. Unfortunately this is about the cost of a car (which I don't even have haha), and I'm looking at closer to $15,000+ for everything.
It would be amazing to raise enough for the new feet as well, but I am desperately in need of new sockets as a minimum. I'm in pain everyday using my current legs, they simply don't fit. Please share this with friends and help me raise enough to get new legs!

Update: We are halfway to the goal and I want to say thank you to everyone who has donated so far! Its really appreciated and it helps a lot. I'm working on getting more funding through a foundation as well and will be hearing from them within the next couple months. Thank you again for the donations, I will update again with more news.
Update 2: I was able to acquire some outside funding and have purchased new feet! These get are going to allow me to walk a lot easier on different surfaces. I still need to pay for the sockets which are being made over the next few weeks (as of 8/21). Any donation will go towards paying for the sockets now.
