Hi everyone, I’m Gui.

For those who don’t know me, I’m a ceramic artist and international student living in Australia.

Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been really unwell with a lung infection. It’s knocked me down hard — I’ve been unable to work for nearly two weeks, and recovery has been slower than I hoped.

Because I can’t go to work right now, things have been tough financially. That’s why I’m starting this fundraiser: to help cover basic living costs while I focus on getting better.

I don’t just want to ask for help without giving something back. I’ve put together some of my ceramic pieces — made just before I got sick and will be giving away for the best donations during this fundraising.

Every contribution, big or small, means a lot and helps me keep afloat while I recover.

Thank you so much to everyone who has checked in, sent kind words, and supported me — it really keeps me going. I can’t wait to get back to full strength and back to creating again.
