Quandarius Holt Recovery Fund

I am sharing a tragic roadside accident that took place early yesterday morning Monday November 19th involving our family friend, Quandarius Holt.

Quan is a very kind and loving young man whom our family has come to know as a dear and close friend to our son Steven. Our family has seen the boys as High School Football teammates, High School All American teammates and College Football teammates. We have listened to the boys many times along with their other teammates and friends at our home talk about their futures, their football dreams and of course life after college.

Quan's future was abruptly changed yesterday morning. My son, Steven called me at work yesterday to tell me about the accident  his friend Quan was involved in. As Quan drove to work early yesterday morning he drove up to an automobile that was broken down in the highway. He saw that the lady driver in the broken down car was in distress and no other drivers were willing to help. Quan being the good hearted young man that he is jumped out of his car against his girlfriends advice and began to push the stranded auto off to the side of the road. As Quan was pushing the car by himself, a logging truck that couldn't wait for the roadway to be cleared pulled around the other autos behind Quan's  car and as he came upon Quan and the stranded auto, struck Quan and the stranded auto, crushing Quan's legs.

Quan was rushed to Piedmont Columbus Regional Midtown Hospital in Columbus, GA where he immediately went into surgery.

My son Steven called me last night to let me know that Quan was now in ICU. Steven began to break down as he started to describe the extent of his friends surgery. A steel rod was placed in the right leg, a steel plate placed in Quan's right hip and then even more heart breaking news that Quan had his left leg amputated below the knee.

Quan needs your prayers and an uplifting hand as he will have a long road to full recovery. I went to visit with Quan today, but he is heavily sedated and in a medically induced coma because of his severe pain. We all know Quan can hear us because as we speak to him his heart monitor will pick up pace.

Quan's life is changed forever, and at this time he doesn't know that he has lost his lower left leg. Please pray for his healing and his strength to recover.

Any financial assistance that you could send Quan's way will be greatly appreciated as the burden will be heavy.

God Bless You
