Quality Cello Fund
Donation protected

Thank you for watching my video and for considering helping me raise the funds I need for a new cello!
Right now, I'm playing a 7/8 size cello but will soon need to move to a full size. More often than not, kids who are serious musicians will move up to a better quality instrument for this transition. Unfortunately, my parents don't have the means to make that happen, so I'm reaching out for assistance.
Here's how I arrived at a grand total of $9000:
--- $6,000 for a cello (I did have my eye on one particular instrument, but that fell through -- the one that got away.)
--- $1,100 for a case $1,500 for a bow (I know, right?! It's a stick of wood and some horse hair, but it really does make a big difference.)
--- And lastly, $400 for a set of strings.
If I'm able to reach my goal, I plan to thank all those who contributed by giving a concert on my new instrument! For those who donate $500 or more, I'll also be happy to play at a private event (assuming that it's within 60 miles of my home and allows me to be back in bed by 11 on a school night, or midnight any other night).
These are the most recent awards I have received for my playing:
--- 2018 Baltimore Symphony Youth Orchestra Concerto Competition Winner (Concert Orchestra)
--- 2018 Peabody Preparatory Achievement Award Recipient
--- 2018 Peabody Preparatory Performance Award Winner
--- 2017 Peabody Preparatory Junior Concerto Competition Winner (Vivaldi Concerto for Two Cellos with Kei Leigh Mese-Jones)
--- 2017 Peabody Preparatory Director's Recognition Award Recipient
--- 2017 Peabody Preparatory Achievement Award Recipient
--- 2017 Peabody Preparatory Performance Award Recipient
I realize that people have a lot of financial demands, so I totally understand if you're unable to contribute. However, I would greatly appreciate it if you could share this with others!
Thanks again!
