Qualcom Hell and Back Challenge

Donation protected

We did it! Thank you all so much for supporting our two great charities. The team made it through Hell and most came back in one piece (one dislocated shoulder)

Everyone is feeling a bit tired and a lot bruised but also very proud of their achievement.

Thank you all again for your support, see the update page for more photos

****Update*****
After our hugely successful fundraising night on the 24th Aug we have now raised €4600
We’re not far off our goal now with only 3 weeks to go! Every penny counts and both the team (who are training hard) and the two fantastic charities would be thrilled if we can reach our target!

Qualcom are taking on the Hell & Back challenge

We have a team of 15 in training who have taken up the challenge on 29th September. Being led by our directors there are members from all departments within Qualcom. Some knew exactly what they were getting themselves in to, others not so much! But what we all know is that we want to use the opportunity to raise some money for a couple of charities that are close to all our hearts in Qualcom.

So this is where you come in….the charities are Down Syndrome Dublin and Pieta House, both of whom do great work for important members of our communities. We are asking you to dig deep and help us reach our goal and in return we will promise to post some photos of the team in Hell for your amusement.

Down Syndrome Dublin is an organisation of volunteer parents & families striving to enhance the lives of our Children through inclusion, Independence, & Choice. To enable people with Down Syndrome and their families to live life to its fullest, & lead an active role in their community, workplace & school.

Pieta House was established in 2006 to provide freely accessible, professional services to people who are in suicidal crisis or who are self-harming. In 2016, the organisation expanded its services to provide suicide bereavement counselling. The charity has locations across Ireland, and to date has supported over 36,000 clients using a solution-focused therapy model and an approach rooted in compassion and care. Pieta House employs over 240 full and part-time qualified therapists, and operates a 24/7 Freephone helpline on 1800 247 247.
The vision of Pieta House is a world where suicide, self-harm and stigma are replaced by hope. Self-care and acceptance.
