QuadStick Fund for Jasaiku

Donation protected
**************************************************************************
Just an update for you all: unfortunately GoFundMe requires a full name linked to it, and as I don't want to share that information publicly they have decided to cancel and will refund all of the donations soon. Please do not donate via GoFundMe. My goal has been reached anyway. Proddy will contact the people who have already contributed. I will close this campaign as soon as all the donations have been refunded.

Hey everyone. I'm raising money in order to buy the Quadstick FPS game controller. It's a joystick that I can move with my mouth. I can't game using my hands or feet so having this device will be life-changing. It will enable me to play games with my friends again, browse my computer easier, I think it'll help me be able to type and interact in twitch chats more often, and most importantly, live stream RuneScape again. I'm broke, cannot work myself and my family has a lot of bills to pay so if the internet could help me out, I would greatly appreciate it!

Update: Bjorn couldn't use a credit card so he sent me $15 to my PayPal. Thank you so much man! Original goal was $380 so it should be $365 now. If you are in the same situation as him, I will put my PayPal when I wake up. It's 4:49 a.m. right now for me.

The cost of the quadstick is $565 including shipping but some incredibly generous people have helped me out already. So shoutouts to my sister, my brother-in-law, bigt0nyy, Proddy, and toastloading!

- what happened to me -
I believe I damaged the tendons my hands and feet. I'm not certain because I need an MRI to know what's wrong and it costs around a co-payment of $600 for both hands. I haven't worried about my feet yet because I wanted to get my hands fixed first. Anyway, on March 10th, 2017, I played too much osu! (a rhythm game) and was simply too dumb to stop playing video games. If I had stopped playing games and rested my hands for a month, I wouldn't need surgery to correct my injury. I also don't think I'll be able to get my hands back anytime soon either. The co-payments for the surgery might be massive and it takes half a year to book an appointment.
After I injured my hands, I would tap to music with my feet. I'm really into music and rhythm, so when I couldn't tap to the beat with my hands, I would tap my feet to the beat excessively, eventually ruining my ankles. A week ago, I've tried playing a simple game called Pokemon Yellow using two controllers with my feet, and I've had pretty bad pain in my ankles ever since. I can walk fine but for some reason just having my feet on the floor sometimes when sitting on a chair gives me pain.

And pretty much I can't play games, work, or study and go to school without worsening my condition. All I do is sit at home. How I get around the internet nowadays is use speech to text on my phone then copy paste what I need using Discord, use voice commands to click for me, and move my mouse awkwardly with my palm or forearms.

As of August 30th 2018, it's been very annoying doing my everyday things. Almost everything I do with my hands causes pain and can last for hours. Some things like shampooing my hair, styling it, refilling my water bottle and preparing food for myself has been pretty painful.  Lately the thing that caused the most pain and damage has been chatting in twitch chat. Even with speech-to-text on my phone, I have to tap to activate it, correct the typos with my fingers, and send my message. Sorry for being dumb, but twitch chat helps alleviate my mood a lot. I've been depressed a lot this past year-and-a-half. Even this whole description for the GoFundMe has taken me a few days. I had to take breaks when creating it. I'm just glad I'm done now.

If I ever do get this quadstick, I'll be incredibly grateful and I'll be sure not to overdo it and permanently hurt myself. I'll take the necessary breaks.

Thank you so much for reading. -Justin 'Jasaiku NaM' Advincula
