Hello Everyone, I recently loss my brother two days after his 29th bday in a fatal car accident
UTICA – Mr. QuaDre Donnell “Dre” DeBerry, age 29, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, August 9, 2022, as a result of injuries sustained from a motor vehicle accident. Born in Utica on August 7, 1993, to Paulette Anderson and Isaac DeBerry, QuaDre attended and graduated from New Hartford High School. At the time of his passing, QuaDre was engaged to his fiancé, Gage Stevens. At one time, he held a position in construction and roofing. Most recently, he was employed at Quick Change. An outgoing man who possessed an adventurous spirit, QuaDre loved the outdoors. He loved to ride on anything he could drive through the woods, always making sure to take advantage of the land he had at his disposal. QuaDre was known to venture through the woods, starting when he was a young boy, and his enjoyment of riding was ignited by riding his grandmother’s lawnmower. Known as a loving and caring man, QuaDre was always helping others from the depths of his kind heart. He is also remembered for his respectful nature. His smile brought sunshine into the world. QuaDre relished getting to play sports—especially lacrosse and basketball—with his cousins. He also possessed gifted hands that could fix and create anything. QuaDre is survived by his parents: his mother and her love, Paulette Anderson and Steven Starkey, and his father and his wife, Isaac and Christine DeBerry. He will live on in the heart of his fiancé, Gage Stevens; and his two-year-old son Chase, and his mom, Roopa Konakanchi. QuaDre was also proud to know he was expecting a son in October with Gage. He will be fondly remembered by his godmother, Darlene Shelton; his sisters, Quatearea McGirt, and her fiancé, Nathaniel Savage, Shavazia DeBerry, Anazia DeBerry, Shanese Reaves, Meca Heyward; as well as his brother, QuaMere Anderson. He leaves behind his niece, Salani Starkey; nephews, Na’Quan McGirt Savage, Jay’Ceon McGirt Savage, Nathaniel McGirt Savage, Jr.; cousins, Thomas “T.J.” Newman, Thomas “Tom” Newman, Thomas “T.T.” Newman, Latailia Anderson, Ralik Anderson, Sean McGirt, Tevin Anderson.
