What’s Your Excuse? In Honor of Kobe Bryant

Tax deductible
Rest in Paradise Kobe. We send our warmest condolences and prayers to Vanessa and the rest of the Bryant family.

All proceeds go directly to the Kobe and Vanessa Bryant Family Foundation. Kobe had a relentless work ethic in everything he did; he played through pain, took no shortcuts, and made no excuses, leaving us each with the question: what’s your excuse, not to fight for the things you love and the dreams you have?

Kobe taught us all what it means to really pursue that passion... Dedicated to all those who continue to be inspired by Kobe Bryant, and who are now chasing their dreams, whatever they may be- keep going.

 Prayers up for a legend.

The Kobe & Vanessa Bryant Family Foundation (KVBFF) is dedicated to improving the lives of youth and families in need, both domestically and globally. By providing financial resources and developing unique programs, the Foundation strives to strengthen communities through educational and cultural enrichment opportunities.

The charity was founded in an effort to give financial support to young people in "life-changing experiences designed to broaden their global perspectives," according to the Foundation's mission statement. The charity initiative has worked with the Make a Wish Foundation and provides countless scholarships for minority college students and youth worldwide.

The Foundation encourages young people to stay active through sports, by operating various summer athletic programs and basketball camps, as well as a youth soccer club in Orange County. Mamba FC teaches young athletes how to become leaders and independent thinkers, while working together as a group to achieve a common goal through health and fitness.

The Foundation helps fund youth homeless shelters and other projects aimed at serving the poor. In order to make a measurable impact on the critical issue of youth homelessness, the Foundation has partnered with a number of local organizations including Step Up on Second, United Way of Greater Los Angeles, and homeless youth drop-in center My Friend’s Place.

My Friends Place is located in Hollywood, which is where the overwhelming majority of the homeless youth population in Los Angeles can be found, and where the need for comprehensive and coordinated services is the greatest. Step Up on Second is a Santa Monica-based nonprofit which has served the homeless population since 1984 and focuses on creating permanent supportive housing in Los Angeles.
