Courtney needs our help!

Courtney Shaner is my fellow real estate agent for Keller Williams. Just being shutdown for work due to COVID-19 was hard, but as we were about to re-open Courtney was admitted to the ER in terrible pain. She couldn’t eat or keep anything down, and she was exhausted. She was transferred to Glens Falls Hospital where she remained for several days. She was sent home without a diagnosis and was told to see a GI Specialist, which was difficult to get into. She ended up back in UVM ER where she was held for a little while and sent back home with an appt for the GI.  Another week past and she finally saw the dr. An appt was scheduled for a testing procedure 5 days later. When she arrived for the procedure she was in such bad shape they admitted her immediately to UVM where she is now. She has not been able to work and needs help to pay her bills and get by until she recovers. She has been diagnosed with a severe case of ulcerative colonitis, which is something that she will live with from here on out. She has a long road to recovery ahead of her and is still currently on IV nutrition. If the medicine works she will progress to solid foods but will have strict diet requirements. She will need infusions every 2 weeks and cannot go back to work anytime soon. Please say a prayer and make a donation for Courtney. She really needs the love and support of our community at this time. Courtney is an active member and volunteer for the Ticonderoga Chamber of Commerce, she worked part-time at the Garrison Gym and is a dedicated real estate agent.
