My name is Janet Myers. I am a co-sponsor for the Washington DC trip that takes place every year with a group of eighth grade students. For the past four years our club has been very lucky to have a secret sponsor provide full payment for one student to go on the trip that would not have the financial means to afford to participate in a trip such as this. Our secret sponsor offered again to pay for another student to go on this trip but unfortunately, we have not been able to get in contact with our secret sponsor to follow through on payment for the chosen student. As sponsors of this trip, we are VERY concerned the possibility of this student not being able to go on this wonderful trip. The Washington DC trip is a busy four day trip filled with an agenda to visit the White House, Capitol, Arlington National Cemetery, Mount Vernon, and many of the museums and monuments that Washington DC has to offer. We chose a student that works very hard to keep their grades up, is well-mannered and would appreciate the opportunity to go on a trip such as this. The trip must be completely paid for by the end of March in order for the student to be able to participate on the trip which is set for June 13-16. Any help in donations to make this an opportunity for this child to be able to participate on going on this trip come true would be GREATLY appreciated. We would be forever greatful for your kindness and generosity in helping to pay for this chance of a life time opportunity for this student.
