Support for the Williams Family

Hello Friends and Family,

We are reaching out to let you know of an incident that has greatly affected our family. Tuesday of last week, Daniel was injured during a fall from a 15-foot roof. Upon gaining consciousness, he was unable to walk. He was taken to the ER. Results of a CT scan showed a concussion, broken rib, and a pelvic fracture. We were sent home that evening.

Three days later, Daniel was still in excruciating pain and still unable to walk. I took him to urgent care to be re-evaluated. Urgent care found an additional fracture in the pelvic area that the ER missed. Urgent care doctors wanted him seen immediately by an orthopedic doctor. He was taken by ambulance back to the hospital. After being admitted, we received the news that surgery was not needed. We were relieved to hear this. Thankfully all 3 fractures will heal on their own with time. We have been given a recovery time period of 8-12 weeks, pending all goes well.

As most of you know, Daniel owns and operates his own pressure washing company. Even after the 12 week recovery period, we will need to proceed with caution when assessing his abilities, due to the physical demands of his job.

Daniel is home now and getting lots of rest. As a full-time homemaker and homeschool mom, I’m now caring for Daniel’s basic needs and our daughter Avery. This accident will greatly affect our livelihood. We are reaching out for financial assistance to help cover our living expenses during this challenging time. The set goal does not include any medical expenses.

We are incredibly grateful for the outpouring of support we’ve already received - countless meals, gift cards, playdates for Avery, dog walks for Maddox, Target pickups and more. We are overwhelmed by your kindness and generosity. None of this would be possible without our community! We will continue to keep you updated as we are able.
