On May 16, 2019 my mom was having pain on her right side of her abdomen which radiates to her back causing her unbearable pain. My dad took her to the Emergency Department where they did a CT scan and prescribed her some pain medications. The ED doctor told her that there were some lesion on her liver and the tail of the pancreas was inflamed. She needed to make an appointment with her primary doctor as soon as possible. The very next day my dad took her to see her primary doctor. Her doctor told her that the possibility of it being pancreatic cancer was very high. (Pancreatic cancer is one of the deadliest cancer anyone can have because of its late signs and symptoms it is hard to detect and the progression is very fast.) The doctor put in an order for her to get a biopsy done asap. Which we did. The results came back as stage 4 pancreatic cancer.


My family and I are asking for your help and support because the odds are against us. We will need financial support from everyone as much as we can get. The funds will be used for lodging and medical bills. This disease is growing rapidly we want to start treatment as soon as possible. We want to take my mom to the Cancer Treatment Center of American in Arizona.  CTCA is a center which focus solely on caring for cancer patient. They offer chemo therapy as well as other services there such as in house imaging, a dietitian, and naturopathic doctor onsite to help with the side effects of the chemo.
