Amy is a single mom of two young boys – Holden, 9 and Cooper, 4 – who was diagnosed with triple negative breast cancer  (one of the most aggressive kinds) in March 2021. 

Because of her treatment plan, she had to close her private day home which was her only source of income.  She is also not eligible for any government assistance and she will be unable to work for a minimum of 6 months.

Funds are being raised to help her pay for rent, utilities and groceries for her and the boys as well as to help cover any unpaid medication expenses not covered by insurance.

Any donation is appreciated.  If you prefer not to donate through Go Fund Me but still want to do something kind, grocery cards for WalMart or No Frills in Sylvan Lake, AB Canada are a great options.   Although she appreciates the flowers and gifts, her concerns are more about costs of day-to-day living for her and the boys.
