My son was mugged last night. He was attacked, beaten, and almost strangled. In the moment, Kaleb thought he should pretend he had passed out so that he would survive the attack. Ultimately, they left him alone. His phone, wallet, and the car he worked so long and hard to pay for in cash were stolen. He has a huge bump on his head, cuts, scrapes, bruises... We didn't go to the ER last night, but we are seeing the doctor for evaluation/scans/xrays this morning. He is scared but above all, crushed! Just utterly broken in spirit. How does he recuperate what he lost? He worked and saved for three years to pay for what he had. I've never asked for anything like this. I've taught my kids to work for what they have, but I just don't know what else to do in this situation. I'd appreciate any help! Thank you, and God bless.
