Hi Friends and Family. For those who may not have heard my mom was recently diagnosed with stage 2 esophagus/stomach cancer. It is an aggressive form of cancer and so she will have to endure both chemo and radiation. Over the next 5 weeks my mom will have a 3 hour chemo session once a week and hour and a half radiation session everyday. Following these treatments she’ll then have a surgery to remove at least half of her stomach and half of her esophagus in hopes of eliminating whatever may be left of the cancer. Though times are tough, I am turning to you, our family and friends, to ask for help. Any donations would be greatly appreciated to help defer the cost of treatments as well as the surgery. As you can imagine even with insurance this type of treatment and surgery will be very costly. Initial estimates are currently close to $9000.
