Jordan and Nerea Lost Everything in a shipwreck

Whether you know Nerea and Jordan personally or followed them on YouTube they are a professional content creators and love to share their experiences with the world. However, they became involved in a severe tragedy off the coast of WA, barely escaping with their lives.
Jordan was living in Western Australia, and Nerea taking some well deserved time off from filming and editing, she took up an opportunity to fly to Perth where she met with Jordan, the captain, his daughter, and the crew of a boat in order to sail to Exmouth over the coming weeks. What it should have been a great adventure turned into the scariest experience of their lives.
Once they left Rottnest Island near Perth, they were headed to a cape North of Jurien Bay but something unexpected happened. While both girls and the other crew were resting in the back cabin, the sailboat made a turn to enter a previous Bay, Jurien Bay. It was windy and the swell big, so when it approached shallow waters to make an entrance the boat went trough 4-5 metres breaking waves, slamming it back down, capsizing the vessel, knocking the captain and its daughter overboard, and throwing the girls and the rest of the crew all over the boat.
The whole crew injured and the vessel quickly sinking it was the quick thinking by the girls and the crew who fought steer the boat while the crew was grabbing life jackets and the emergency beacon before repeated waves breaks continued to break up the boat, keeping an eye all the time in the captain and his daughter. Once it was obvious that the boat will not survive, the crew was forced to abandon the sailboat as it sank completely within only a few minutes after the first capsize.
Once in the water, they swam towards each other, and luckily found two more life jackets, so everybody was wearing them. Then, the Personal Locator Beacon was activated, notifying sea rescue. However, the water was still very rough and was cold, not to mention sharks are well known off this Coast so every minute counted and the crew wondered if they would ever see there loved family and friends ever again as the boat slipped into the deep. Sadly, between the confusion and the huge waves the team got separated.
After several desperate hours floating in the torrent, clinging to their lives they were spotted by a search plane who sent out 2 vessels and rescued all of the crew in different parts of the bay.
The important thing is that everyone survived and will make a full physical recovery. However, the vessel sank with all their personal possessions, computer, passports, clothes and camera equipment that brought us all those special memories. Nerea and Jordan are video editors and content creators, having done work professionally, either for non-fot-profit organizations or other YouTube channels with equipment she they have bought with her own money. They make a living doing what they love and sharing it with the world. But the most important thing is their well being. Since the accident they haven’t been feeling themselves, so part of the money they make here will be focused on attending counceling sessions. It is going to be a long process, but we are confident they will get trough this rough time.
Let's help them recover physically and mentally and help them get back on their feet to the work they do and that we all love so much.
They are still emotionally drained and they didn't want to go public to the news agencies. They are always ready to help anyone and they will do anything for their friends so this is the least we can do for them.
