Joey’s Cancer Battle

Hi everyone! It’s Joey’s sisters (Tori and Bri) here. As many of you know, Joey was recently diagnosed with stage 4 cancer (Primary Mediastinal Non Hodgkin Type B- Cell Lymphoma). This came as a huge shock to our family and of course has come with its struggles. Joey is currently enduring intense chemo as the nature of her cancer is quite aggressive. As you can imagine, this has been an extremely difficult time for her.

Before being diagnosed with cancer, Joey was completing her first year of her masters degree. With aspirations of being a librarian, she truly was thriving in her studies. Her love for books and community will make her the best librarian and we are so proud of all of her accomplishments.

We are hoping to raise money for her to ease her mind. As she is not able to work this summer, we would like to raise enough money to help cover her studies.

To know Joey, is to love her. She is one of the most genuine and loving people on this planet. We cannot thank you all enough for the support you have provided to not only her during this time, but to our whole family. While we are trying to raise as much money as we can for our girl, we also appreciate your messages, prayers, and thoughts just as equally. Thank you to our amazing community. We love you all.
