Hi, my name is Paola and I am creating a gofundme for my pet Taffy. She was recently diagnosed with polyarthritis earlier this year. As of now she is taking medication(stereoids) to stabilize pain in her limbs so she can walk normal again. On May 21st only a few months after her diagnoses she started to vomit for 3 days and we brought her to the ER. As of now we do not know what is causing her inflammation and vomiting but our cost with insurance is up to 8,000 dollars. She needs blood work, an ultrasound, Xrays, IVC Catheter, overnight care and prescribed medication. She has to be hospitalized to manage her health. Her entire cost this year since January is now $16,000. I am currently in college and work full time and my parents have took time off work for health reasons. Please help me save up for the cost of Taffy's medical expenses. She is the most lovable dog anyone can have and she will always be my first priority. She is a dog with so much energy. Playing catch with her ball was her favorite thing to do, now she has no energy to eat or walk. Please help me reach my goal to help Taffy and find out what is wrong. Anyone that has come in contact with Taffy knows she is the most innocent, playful, and caring pet.
