My name's Zoe & my boyfriend's name is Kees. We we recently evicted from our apt on Jan. 11th. That same evening we had to surrender our 2 ESA dogs, Queen & Capone, to the North Central Animal Shelter. We started working with LAHSA on Jan. 12th to help us with getting bus tickets back home to Georgia & a few of our friends also helped us with finding transport for our babies, so they're able to go home with us. Our LAHSA worker still hasn't given us a timeframe on when our bus tickets will be ready, and I have asked her if we could be placed at a pet friendly shelter/interim housing if the process to get us home is going to take a few weeks. We're hoping to raise enough money for 1-2 weeks in a hotel, that way we can go get our babies from the shelter. Our boy dog has to get neutered before he can be released, and since of LAHSA worker hasn't given us a timeframe, we don't have a timeframe to give our friend who's arranging our babies transport so they could have him ready. If we can get him out before we leave, he can get neutered in time & be ready for transport. Once in Georgia, we both have jobs lined up, so we're hoping to have enough money left over for at least 1 week in a hotel, until we receive our 1st paychecks
