Speech and Debate has been a very important part of our high school careers; from learning new things to waking up at 5am every Saturday to compete. After successfully qualiying, Jeremiah Quintana, Cesar Chaparro, Bryana Acosta, Isabella Garcia, and I, Britonya Fleming, will be traveling to Dallas, Texas this summer to compete in the National Speech and Debate Tournament. After putting countless hours and effort into Speech and Debate over the last four years, we're hoping to go out with a bang by representing New Mexico at a national level.
