Fighting 4 Cole
Donation protected
On March 19, 2015, Cole Sisson, who is just 7 years old, was complaining of a headache and a stiff neck. His dad was rubbing his neck and felt four lumps. The next day Cole's mom took him to the pediatrician and while there he had blood work done. That same day the doctor sent him to Cardinal Glennon Hospital where he was diagnosed with A.L.L. Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia, Cancer of the white blood cells.
The entire family has been devastated. Cole will initally have to stay in the hospital for about four weeks. So far, he has already had 5 blood transfusions, 2 bone marrow tests and 2 spinal taps. He has also had a port put in his chest to start the chemotherapy treatments. After the four weeks in the hospital the family is hopeful he will be able to go home. He will then have to return to the hospital every two weeks for 5 days of chemotherapy. He is such a brave little boy. He is scared and really doesn’t understand what’s happening. Cole and his family have a long road ahead of them. The doctor has been very positive and said the duration of this leukemia will take up to 3 ½ years.
This GoFundMe page is to help the family focus on Fighting 4 Cole and not having to worry about medical bills and expenses.
