As I am in Canada, this campaign has been created in Canadian dollars, although Jamie is in the USA. $1 USD = $1.32 CDN
Our good friend, Jamie, has recently suffered a stroke. While she is currently in stable condition, the road to recovery is long. She will need weeks in hospital before speech and physical therapy can begin. Her right side is not working well. She cannot speak, write, or feel her leg. Moving about on her own is out of the question.
With three high-needs children and a husband whose job is out-of-state, Jamie's family needs all the help they can get. Any funds you donate will help with costs associated with medical expenses, Jamie's inability to work, therapies, childcare, housekeeping, and travel.
If you are in the area, Jamie's husband, Chris, can use help with children and housecleaning. Once they decide on a longer term treatment plan, other needs may arise.
