Andy's Fight

I’m starting this fundraiser on behalf of my brother, Andy, Many of his loved ones know him as Drew or Gundy, and his grandchildren call him Papa or Grandpa Andy. Whether we know him as Andy, Drew, Gundy or Papa, he is a man we all love.

As many of you have just discovered, Andy has been diagnosed with Stage 4 Pancreatic Cancer that has metastasized to his liver, lymph nodes and lung. This diagnosis came quickly and unexpectedly, leaving all of us in a whirlwind of questions or wondering how to help. That said, Andy will be starting chemo this Wednesday, December 7th and having chemo every two weeks. Andy hopes his pain gets under control and chemo treatments help him continue to do life to the fullest.

Andy faces uncertainty in many things, yet this is one way that would allow him to have one less worry. Any donated funds received would tremendously help. All funds will be distributed to assist Andy in managing the financial burden that, unfortunately, comes with a cancer diagnosis. Funds will help with additional medical costs, tests, travel for further treatment and opinions, potential living expenses and getting things done on his bucket list.
