Help the fight for Grace

A parent should never hear the words “I’m sorry but your child has cancer”.

These words were told to Brianne Langill and Jacob Carriere after they brought Grace, their youngest daughter to have a swollen lymph node examined.

They were quickly flown by helicopter to CHEO in Ottawa where Grace underwent several tests and on Thursday October 12th she was diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukaemia.

This devastating news has been a huge blow to their family and they’re currently grappling with all the unknowns.

The road Grace has ahead of her is long and it will be hard, a road a two year old should never have to experience.

Brianne and Jacob are close friends.Their next 2-3 years will be filled with missed time at work, travel costs and many other unknowns. This is why I’ve chosen to start a gofundme on behalf of the family. Funds raised will help them cover miscellaneous expenses during this stressful time in their lives and allow them to focus all of their attention on their daughter’s care rather than on family finances.
