Hi! My name is Joshua Tanon and I am currently a college student at the Borough of Manhattan Community College in New York City. My dreams and ambitions are to become a United States Air Force fighter pilot one day after college. I am currently studying Aerospace Engineering. 
I am in my last semester at BMCC and will be continuing my education the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (hopefullly!) As of recent, I have been offered the internship of a lifetime; NASA has reached out to me for an opportunity at the Armstrong Flight Research Center at Edwards Air Force Base in California. I will be working as an intern on developing sensor equipment on a Mars glider.
I am highly excited for this opportunity given my passion for aviation and aeronautics and really really will do anything to make this happen. However, I live in the Bronx, NY and am short on funds to be able to afford this trip on my own. I have no family in California, no friends or contacts and will not be provided with housing, food or transportation to and from work. The costs will not be cheap and I am asking for help to be able to make this dream become a reality! Please any donation of any magnitude at all, even if its change, would be greatly appreciated!!!
