Dear friends and family,
I attended a two-day tryout on February 21st and 28th for a competitive, traveling lacrosse team. I'm very excited to inform you that I got accepted to play for the Bay Area 3D LAX team over the summer. Over 100 girls tried out and I was one of the 20 selected for this team. I still am in shock and I'm so grateful for this amazing opportunity. This is important to me because I know I have so much room to improve and that this organization can make me 10 times better. Over the summer I would be traveling to Colorado, Virginia and some local games. Because of the traveling expenses, the entire cost is over $3500. This is why I'm sending letters out to all of my family and close family friends asking for a donation. I am currently working several jobs to help pay for this. I'm a swim instructor for little kids at the Sherman Swim School, I ref girls lacrosse, I babysit for several families and occasionally work at Luigi's deli in Martinez. Even with all of my jobs I'm unable to cover all of the finances. It would mean so much to me and I would be very grateful for any donations.
