For those of you who don’t know, Lady has been by my side since she was a three month old pup, nine years and four cities ago.

She is quite simply the best thing that has ever happened to me. Although some might say I “rescued” her from the local shelter back in Wisconsin, she is the one who saved me.

Right now she needs our help now more than ever.

We found out last week that she has a cancerous mast cell tumor that will require major surgery. Her treatment plan may also require an additional tumor removal and radiation and/or chemotherapy depending on how bad it is. Additional testing has given us positive signs but we won’t know until surgery.

Everyone involved on her care team has been incredible, but the treatment costs have quickly added up, even prior to the surgery, leaving us in a challenging financial situation. Lady's health is the top priority, and we're determined to do everything we can to help her beat this - she still has so much more life to live.

These treatments are costly, and while we are doing everything we can to cover the expenses, we find ourselves in need of some extra support.
