Support Tonnya’s fight against cancer!

Hello everyone! My name is Sylvia, and I am a dear friend and colleague of Tonnya’s. Tonnya has been a Para-professional with D300 for 15 years, 12 here at Hampshire High School. Tonnya has recently been diagnosed with Esophageal cancer that has spread to her lymph nodes. She has started radiation treatments with chemotherapy and immunotherapy to follow. She and her family have a long & painful battle ahead. All of us who know her are aware of what a fighter she is!

With permission from Tonnya and her family, this GO FUND ME has been set up to assist the family with expenses they will be facing as she begins her courageous battle to beat this cancer. The funds will be used to assist with unforeseen medical expenses, transportation costs to get her to and from treatments, and specialty foods she will need when she can eat again. Her daughter, Allison Leja (a teacher at Dundee-Crown High School), will oversee the funds.
