The Story
About 6 months ago I was just graduating high school, with plans to attend my dream college up in Canada. I thought I had my future plans figured out, but God had other things in store for me. Sign after sign I felt God pulling my heart to consider working with an organization called YWAM, so I finally did. God opened up my eyes to his plan for my future. He placed inside me a burning desire to adventure and travel and broke my heart for those who have not experienced the love of Jesus. I dropped all my previous plans and dove head first into his new one. He fixed my gaze on a specific outreach, Backpacking Europe. This involves attending a discipleship training School for 3 months in Paris and then being sent out on an outreach hiking through Europe, living on the streets, in churches and hostels, and wherever God places us as we love and reflect Jesus to everyone we encounter. After hearing the stories and impact that come out of this outreach, I felt it was exactly the one for me. So that brings me to the present day. God has trusted me with this incredible journey, and now I am trusting Him to fund it. My excitement is building higher everyday I come nearer to my departure. I believe our God can do impossible things supernaturally and is greater than any fear or discouragement. If God has moved on your heart to help me fund this journey, I would like to thank you from the bottom, middle, and top of my heart.
What Will Donations Be Used For?
All the donations that I receive will go to funding this trip. The Cost of the program is $4900. This pays for my housing, food, and education that I will receive in France. All the rest of the donations will go towards airfare getting to France, cost of a visa, and other supplies I will need for this trip. All the money I’m raising will go towards expanding the Kingdom. That’s truly all of our mission. If God has placed a certain area of donation on your heart let me know with a comment and I will whole-heartedly accept.
