Hey everyone !

My mother is Amanda Stover & if you know her you know she has the biggest heart and helps everyone in need when she can and now it’s our turn to make sure she is taken care of! Her job doesn’t offer any paid time off or any vacation days so she will be completely out of a check for 6 weeks or more .

Back in 2020 she had a partial kidney removal as cancer was found in her kidneys. They were sure it was gone but…

Almost 6 years later it has came back and is worse! It’s spreading through her body. Thursday December 11th 2025 she is having surgery to remove ribs as the cancer has came back and spread to her ribs through the blood and is eating at her bones.

She has Metastatic renal cell carcinoma. After surgery she will do chemotherapy hopefully to remove any lingering cells. Docs say it’s “not curable” but with God anything is possible!

My mama is the strongest women I’ve ever met and goes to work every single day. Never calls off . She will be out of work for 6 weeks or more due to the major surgery. we just lost our dad a year ago (her husband) Christmas is right around the corner and her birthday is tomorrow December 5th. She doesn’t need to stress.

Doctors have been working on a blueprint for her surgery, this surgery isn’t one they have done often. We are all super nervous but putting our trust in Gods and the doctors hands . They will be cutting her from by the belly button to her spine and removing ribs and reconstructing so things stay in place .
