Help Lane Fight Rare Lung Cancer

We are raising money for my nephew Lane. Lane was just diagnosed with a rare cancer which affects fewer than 200 people in the world per year. The cancer is called NUT Midline Carcinoma. There is currently no cure for this cancer; however, there is a clinical trial at MD Anderson in Houston which shows promise.

Lane graduated from college in November and started his dream job in December. We are raising money to help pay the costs for Lane and his family to travel and get lodging in Houston for the clinical trial at MD Anderson. While Lane's health insurance pays on the medical bills, their travel costs will be sizable. Plus, deductibles must be met, and Lane's family is having to take off work to travel with him. Lane wants to work if at all possible, as he loves his job, but the clinical trial will take three months in Texas while his job is in Mississippi. All proceeds will go towards the costs associated with this clinical trial (travel, deductibles, etc). If any money is left over, the additional funds will be used to support NUT Midline Carcinoma Cancer Research. This fundraiser is being managed by Lane's uncles: Chad, Louis, and Jerry plus close family/friends: Donna, Anita, and Cheyanne.
