Support Needed After Tragic Accident
Donation protected
So Friday, May 10th me and my wife were driving to work at 5:30 am. I was driving on 44 approaching i75 in Wildwood. As I passed the Dunkin Donuts on the right a homeless guy decided to end his days on earth by jumping in front of my truck. I was driving around 35-40 mph upon impact. I stopped immediately and pulled over. I exited my truck to run and check on the guy and he wasn't moving. I started trying to wave off traffic but I was ignored by the first vehicle. A white Cadillac suv, who I truly believed saw the guy in the road because he drove around him and continued on his way. As I turned back to wave off the next vehicle (concrete truck), he went directly on him with his right tires. I screamed, "the concrete truck just ran him over!!" A I turned to my wife and frantically told her to call 911 and get out of the truck before someone runs into our truck. The concrete guy stopped as quick as he could. I didn't know at the time but he was carrying a full load. As the concrete guy runs up to me I informed him that he just ran over the guy 2 more 18 wheelers came across him as well. The police were there in less than 3 minutes. People started pulling up the witnessed what happened. A few people said they saw him out there trying earlier as they drove by. I've never been so dramatized in my life. To see what I saw is totally unbelievable. I haven't been able to sleep well since the incident. My truck was totaled from the collision and now I'm in a rental. I've only had to come out of pocket $150, but that's definitely about to change. I've found me another vehicle to purchase, but the financial institution wants me to continue to make payments until the paperwork is complete, which will take about 60 days. I think I need a therapist. Is there anyone that's willing to refer someone my way. I also need help on the cash side of things. Thank you and God bless you beforehand
