Hey hi hello!

My name is Sam (they/them) and I'm looking to raise money to help support me for my upcoming top surgery this December. Which feels so extremely exciting and extremely scary! Ah!

Top surgery is a gender-affirming surgical procedure that involves the removal of breast tissue to create a masculine chest contour. It is an important treatment option for gender dysphoria, improving both psychological well-being and quality of life. Top surgery has always felt like a necessary step towards feeling at home in my body. The past several years of my life have consisted of two orthopedic surgeries, an ACL reconstruction and a shoulder labrum repair, that have shown me the value that comfort in our bodies can bring. Being (mostly) pain-free for the first time in years has allowed me time to advocate for a body that is not only functional but also feels like the truest version of me.

I currently work a seasonal position on a farm and do not have the funds to pay for this by myself. Any contribution toward the cost of this procedure would mean so much to me, and I am so deeply thankful for you all.
