Victory for Vickie
Donation protected
Hi, my name is Lacey Hancock. I am a 35 year old woman who has Down Syndrome. I live with my parents in Memphis. I love Jesus, my family, dancing, art and Taco Bell in that order, but this is not about me. I want to tell you about my mom, Vickie Hancock. In February of this year, my mom was not feeling very good. She went to our favorite family doctor who is also a dear friend. He ordered an MRI for my mom and discovered a mass on the front of her brain. She had to have brain surgery! She stayed in ICU, then went to a step-down room and then went to another place for rehab. She has been doing really well with all of her therapies: speech, physical and occupational. Even with all of the miracles my dad and I have seen, my mom still needs additional medical help. Her doctor has told my daddy that my mom needs to go to MD Anderson Hospital in Texas to be evaluated. My dad is named Bobby Hancock. He loves my mom very much! He calls her "MY GIRL"!! My dad and I want to ask you to please pray about giving some money to help us pay for some of my mom's medical bills. It is very important to me and my dad for my mom to have good doctors who can help her. We know Jesus can help her, too. Thank you for being willing to consider donating money so my mom can have Victory!
