Keith Phillips Medical Fund

On March 7, 2015 Keith was ejected from a car as it was flipping.  He landed in a ditch face down in water.  By the Grace of God a young lady happened to drive by to stop, help and call 911.  Keith's lungs aspirated and collapsed.  He has had bleeding in the brain and on the brain.  He also has bruising of the brain.  On March 15th we almost lost him again due to his oxygen dropping so low on the ventilator.  The trauma doctors wanted to try one more thing.  They switched Keith to an oscillator machine.  We believe Keith went without oxygen for approximately eight minutes while in the water.  It took many hours to come back to a normal percentage of of oxygen once transferrred to the oscillator.  Due to the lack of oxygen we don't know how it has affected his brain.  Keith's lungs are just too sick for him to be moved in his bed, much less to have a CT scan or MRI.  Keith also suffered a broken hip, broken right arm and scapula and right dislocated shoulder.  Keith's right shoulder is shattered and he has numerous fractured ribs.  He has been in ICU for 26 days today, April 1st.  The trauma doctors believe he will more than likely be in the ICU for another 3 to 4 weeks.  It will be many months of recovery and therapy depending on his brain function.

Keith is 25 years old, has a fiancee,  Amy, and they have a precious 3 year old daughter, Kaylee.  Keith's mom has had to put her business on hold to care for her son.  There are two households in dire need due to this tragic accident.  As you can imagine the medical bills are going to be extensive and the monthly household bills, food, gas, etc., continue to accumulate.

The Phillips family would like to extend their deep gratitude to the amazing and compassionate medical team at Gwinnett Medical ICU.

The family would like to thank you in advance for your continued prayers and your financial support during the family's time of need.

Matthew 18:19-20

19 "Again truly I tell you that if two of you on earth agree about anything they ask for, it will be done for them by my Father in heaven. 20 For where two or three gather in my name, there am I with them."
