Medical Expenses (Kidney Transplant)

Hello friends and neighbors,
I set up this go fund me page to help two of the most special people I know and love Sid & Naomi Villarreal.
Four years ago Sid was diagnosed with severe kidney failure. Kidney failure is a life altering condition. With his family and their well being as his priority, he embarked on a journey to save his life. Dialysis has been a normal routine for him necessary to keep his kidneys functioning. Last year with his kidneys working at just 10% his doctors told him it was time to consider a kidney transplant as a means to save his life. Sid began the necessary steps needed to prepare for a transplant which included a weight loss plan that was needed to meet the criteria to be listed on the transplant list. Once he lost weight and was ready and by the Grace of God, his wife Naomi decided to test for a donor match and was exactly that! A match!
Sid and Naomi are scheduled for kidney transplant surgery on February 12th.
Even though some of their costs of the transplant are covered by insurance, all expenses are not covered and will create a massive financial burden for them.
The City of Aransas Pass where they are both employed has been very supportive and the outpour of love from the community has been heart warming and for that they are so grateful but more help is needed.
They will have to relocate (for at least a month) in order to be near the transplant center, there’s also anti-rejection medications and follow-up medical care after receiving a transplant. The out of pocket expenses will add up quickly and continue indefinitely.
Please pray for their health and safety during the procedure and the days after. Pray that Sids body will accept the kidney with no issues and for Naomi to recover as quickly as possible. Pray that all will go well so that can get back to their kids as a family whole and complete.
