Rosie's Family

Hi Everyone, Occasionally you will see me establish a Go-Fund Me for one of our team members in need. Anytime this happens, Tom & Adam will match the donation in order to help. Rosie actually fought me on starting this because she doesn't want to burden anyone else with her problems... typical Rosie. In the end I insisted that we wanted to help and felt others would as well.

Who need's help: Rosie's husband's cousin Marcos Ortega lives in Nicaragua. Marcos is 39 years and homeless due to the current economic situation. His only local family is a sister who is also below Nicaragua's poverty level, roughly $3.20 per day.

Marcos takes odd jobs in order to eat and survive, one of these odd jobs is a cowboy working the rodeo circuit keeping bull riders alive after they are ejected from the bull. Nicaragua has a long tradition of rodeo related sporting events and this is one of the few jobs available for those brave enough to do it.

Why does he need help: A few days ago Marcos was attempting to distract a bull from a downed rider when he was gored, mauled and thrown across the ring. Marcos is currently in critical condition in the hospital and his medical costs are rapidly increasing as he is fighting for his life against horrific injuries and infection.
