Taking Nana Back Home to Chile

Ana Maria, a.k.a. Nana, has touched so many lives, especially babies and toddlers. Nana is an angel sent from God to so many families. For over 25 years, Nana dedicated her life to taking care of children. She couldn’t turn a child away. As new moms, she gave each of us peace of mind and heart. You knew your child was in perfect hands, while we headed off to work. Nana loved each and every child as if they were her own. You would drop off your baby straight from the crib, to the car seat, and into her arms. After work, parents would pick up a perfect, well- groomed, clean, and happy baby!
There is one word that describes Ana Maria...GIVER. Nana gives and gives and gives. She gives to everyone and thinks about others over herself. She gives to families, the mailman, the garbage men, the neighbors, people in need, and just someone who needs a listening ear. She also takes care of her mother in Chile. She makes sure her mother’s needs are taken care of even though she is in another country and far away from her. This is another example of the sacrifice Ana Maria makes for others. Always thinking of others, before herself.
Now it is our time to give back to her. The Arias Family (Enzo and Stephanie) are hoping to raise money to cover the medical expenses after Nana suffered a severe stroke. There have been scary days for the family when they thought, this is it, time to say ‘goodbye’; she’s not going to make it. Then the next day, this spunky, beautiful woman who has the will to live will open her eyes, blink, squeeze her daughter’s hand, and respond to her husband, daughter and sister-in-law in some nonverbal way! We do not know what God has in store for Ana Maria. In the event that He takes her from us, she request that she be taken back to her home in Chile as her final resting place.
Any dollar will help the Arias’ Family! They just want to make sure that Ana Maria gets the proper medical treatment and that they will be able to make the journey back home if that is in God’s plan!
