My mother, Nancy, is 91 years old and has always been remarkably independent, strong, and full of life.
Recently, she suffered a fall and fractured her leg, which has significantly impacted her mobility. She is currently in a nursing facility working hard to regain strength and movement, but it has become clear that she will need additional support in order to safely return home.
Our goal is to bring her back to the comfort and familiarity of her home, where she can continue to heal with dignity and the care she deserves.
To make this possible, we need to prepare her home for a safe return. This includes in-home nursing support as well as important safety modifications. Most notably, we need to remodel a bathroom to be wheelchair accessible and safe for both my mom and my brother.
We are raising funds to help cover the cost of care, accessibility improvements, and the essential support needed during this transition.
This has been a challenging time for our family, and any support—whether through a donation or simply sharing this page—means more than we can express.
Thank you for helping us bring our mom home safely.
With love and gratitude,
Lori and family
