Andrea’s Breast Cancer Journey
Donation protected
Monday, June 23rd, our worlds were shaken as I received my biopsy results and official diagnosis: Invasive Ductal Carcinoma. It is estrogen positive, progesterone negative, and protein positive. The mass was showing to be 3 cm in size, and having the HER2 positive protein aspect, things tend to be more aggressive but very treatable. My right breast was clear on all the scans, but the mass is in my left breast.
I meet with medical oncology next week and will go over the treatment plan, which will more than likely consist of chemo and then a double mastectomy to follow.
As some of you may know, my son Connor was diagnosed on February 21st with Hodgkin’s Lymphoma. His midway PET scan showed early rapid response, which was amazing news. He completed his final chemo treatment yesterday.
Our family has not had the best 2025 so far and has taken a big hit financially as we have just finished one cancer journey and are about to start another.
Any amount, big or small, would be greatly appreciated and helpful during this very trying time for us. Any donations will go to medical costs, travel money, or any bills that we may have.
Thank you so much for your love and support
