Shelby's Fund - Road to Recovery

Hello family and friends, I want to introduce you to my beautiful 20 year old niece, Shelby Anderson.  She is an amazing young lady, with a kind heart, a generous and loving spirit, who has an enormous passion for God, for life and dance!

On April 1, 2015, Shelby's life was turned upside down, and she suddenly found herself facing an overwhelming new reality where a trip to the ER for fatigue and abdominal swelling, swiftly turned into Life Flight to San Diego Sharp Memorial Hospital with a devastating diagnosis of Acute Lymphobastic Leukemia (A.L.L.).  To date (Easter Sunday) Shelby is out of I.C.U. (Praise God!) and is undergoing intensive treatment over the next 6 to 8 weeks, and will require continued treatment mulitple times per week over the next 2 to 3 years in hopes of reaching remission.  Currently, the doctors have given Shelby a 50-50 chance of survival.  However, even with this terrifying diagnosis and a future with many uncertainties and battles ahead, our courageous Shelby has a Great God, and, she has accepted the challenges she will face with grace and faith.  Her family, Mom (Monica), Dad (Devin), and brother (Seth) are all by her side, and remain hopeful in God's grace, our strong faith, along with the continuous prayers and endless support from all of you, our family and friends.

This fund will help Shelby's family with the medical costs not covered by insurance, and provide Shelby with the necessary medication and treatment that she will need on her road to recover.  Every donation, no matter how big or small, will go directly to supporting Shelby's care and recovery.  I know Shelby and her family will greatly appreciate any contribution that is made.  On behalf of the Anderson family and all who know, love and are supporting Shelby, Monica, Devin and Seth in any way you can, I thank you for your consideration and any donation you make to her fund.  But above all, please pray for strength, peace, and healing for our dear Shelby.  May God bless each of you for your generousity and kindness!
