Update: Lucy had a successful surgery and is recovering so well, thank you so much to everyone who helped us get her the care she needed❤️

On August 15, our sweet pup Lucy had to be rushed to the emergency vet and unfortunately needed surgery to fix a bladder blockage caused by stones. Without the surgery, she would not have made it through the night, so we depleted our funds to save her. The cost for the emergency services was $12,000.

In the aftermath of this, testing revealed two benign tumors that are the source of her lifetime of bladder issues. The vet has urged us to do one final surgery as quickly as possible to remove the tumors. This surgery would cure the underlying condition - without it, bladder stones will continue to form, and her kidneys will become irreversibly damaged over time.

The estimated cost of this procedure is $7,000, and her recent emergency surgery has exhausted our resources. We simply do not have the funds or the means to afford another hefty vet bill so soon after the last, and so with a heavy heart, I am reaching out to friends, family, and compassionate strangers to help save sweet Lucy’s life.
