Hi all,

On March 27th, a rainstorm hit the Rio Grande Valley with unexpected intensity. Many homes and business were completely flooded within hours. Devastatingly, my Nana (Mary Brooke) and Uncle's (Daniel Brooke) home was one of the homes affected by this disaster. My Nana has lived in this home for over twenty years, and my Uncle Daniel has lived with her for the past several, running his business and helping take care of her and their three pets.

The flooding has completely taken over their first floor and just the repairs alone will cost thousands of dollars. My Nana and Uncle are currently staying with my aunt, but that is a very temporary solution as my aunt has children and pets of her own to care for.

We are working together as a community to help my Nana, who has been nothing but giving and gracious for her whole life, and my Uncle, who risked his life to get her and their pets to safety during the flood. There is nothing I want more than to be able to help them back on their feet and relieve their burden. If you could donate even a dollar, or just share this page, we would be extremely grateful.
