December 9th, 2025, was the day that changed the Seastrom’s family lives forever. Jeremy woke up that morning and had a lot of blood in his urine. Angie decided to take him to the Marion Mercy ER for what they thought would be a kidney stone or urinary infection, but instead they received horrible news. They were told the CT showed a large mass in his right kidney (softball size or bigger) small spots on his lungs and left kidney. They were not prepared for the news especially with no symptoms that would have made them think something major was wrong. Mercy admitted him to the hospital and Jeremy had a biopsy scheduled for the next morning. They discharged him that day and told them the doctor would call them to schedule an appointment to go over the biopsy. Their appointment was Dec 12th, where they were told Jeremy had stage 4 kidney cancer, not curable but treatable. They were told it will depend on how his body reacts to the treatments on how much time they have left with him. The Seastrom family has been struggling to wrap their heads around this news.

They have lots of support and prayers coming in from family, friends and co-workers. Jeremy loves nothing more than hanging with his family, cheering on Easton and teammates during sporting events, chilling at home and loving on his new grand baby. Jeremy is a fighter and we’re confident he will throw his best punches at this.

We can help them during this time by taking away some of the financial strain so they can concentrate on helping Jeremy get well. All contributions go directly to Angie and Jeremy to ease some of the financial burdens they may face.
