Hi,

My name is Kameko, I am creating this fundraiser on behalf of my older brother Seth, who passed away unexpectedly on July 25th.

Seth is a cancer survivor and a dearly loved human in all the communities he has had a chance to be a part of.

Seth passed away unexpectedly from Heat stroke, in Portland Oregon sometime on July 25th. Seth has been living in a adult group home, as his previous cancer battles had left him with developmental disabilities and required a guardian care of sorts 24/7. Seth had managed to sneak out of his house and go for a walk; he was reported missing sometime Monday from the care home and was found the same day later in the day, as a passerby saw Seth passed out on the sidewalk, the bystander called EMS; however at the point of locating him, it was already too late. We were not notified until Thursday July 28th, due to him being unable to be identified immediately and neglect of accurate information on the informing parties part.

This news has come as a huge devastation and shock to our family, friends, and communities that loved Seth ever so dearly as we did.

Seth was an incredible human being with a huge heart and an even brighter personality, no matter where he was he never left anyone without a smile, a hug, or a friendly reminder of how much he loved you. Seth is the kind of soul that while his physical may be gone, he will forever be celebrated in our hearts and soul.

We will be doing a celebration of life at some point in the next month, after we can get my brothers affairs in place.

I am creating an asking amount of $5,000 to cover funeral/memorial expenses, as well as to cover flights for my mother. She is currently in Massachusetts and we are making efforts to bring her home for a final viewing of my brother, and to do handle affairs with us at this time.

Anything helps, we are so so so grateful that Seth was as alive and fearless as ever for the 30 years that he blessed us with his life, presence, and soul, He was someone who loved everyone equally without question, at their core and he is and will be deeply deeply missed by those near and far.
