Man in critical condition after Queens subway stabbing: cops
My brother was a victim of a violent crime that took place on Parsons and Archer in Jamaica, Queens around 1:30 am. He was on his way into the train station, when a random guy approached him threatening his safety. In self defense my brother began to defend himself. While fighting, the perpetrator pulled out a knife and stabbed my brother multiple times to the chest and abdomen. My brother was stabbed 3 times with one of them piercing his heart. He was immediately rushed to Jamaica Hospital where he coded before being brought back to life. Doctors had to massage his heart to keep him stable as well as perform open chest surgery. His lungs collapsed during the process leading him to have to rely on a breathing machine as well chest tubes to keep his lungs stable. Doctors say it is only a 1% chance that someone survives an injury like that. He is currently improving and on his road to recovery but he still has a long road ahead.
We are seeking Justice for my brother because the perpetrator of this horrific crime is still out there and we need resources to help him get justice. We would also humbly accept any donations towards his medications as well as living expenses as he can not work for quite sometime. It will be a long road to recover for my brother as he will have to build his stamina back up from scratch and learn to walk day by day. As stated before, our family thanks God that he is alive. We would be very much appreciative and greatly thankful for any donations.
