In response to participating in a protest against ICE on June 11th, 2025, Bajun Mavalwalla II was arrested in the early morning hours of July 15th, 2025, at the home he shares with his partner in Spokane, WA. He has been charged with Conspiracy to Impede or Injure Officers. Bajun’s participation in the protest was peaceful, non-violent, and the accusations of him being part of a “conspiracy“ is utterly ridiculous.

Funds will be used to cover upcoming legal expenses and the defense investigation. This case has already been complicated by the direct interference of Attorney General Pam Bondi, who cycled through 3 acting US attorneys in 30 days. This case is entirely political and has nothing to do with law and order, or even the protest: It's a show trial.

The average federal defense case costs between $150,000 and $250,000, which will wipe Bajun out financially.
