My name is Michael Forbus. Four months ago, I began to feel faint and also began to faint many times. I went to see my primary doctor, and he was going on vacation, so my dear sister took me to the emergency room here. I was given some tests, and they immediately checked me in. I had been losing blood, and we couldn’t find out where it was going. I lost over three quarts of blood, and that was very dangerous, close to death. After doing some very extensive tests, they took out the cancer they found in my colon and they removed it. That was around Thanksgiving, and I have been on preventative chemo and white blood cell infusions since then. It is devastating to my overall health, although the oncologist, who is a great doctor, assures me that this chemotherapy is sure to keep the cancer at bay. The operation to remove the cancer in my colon was hugely expensive, as are the chemo treatments. Over a million dollars before my insurance started taking care of part of it. I have done most of this by myself. I need some financial help now, and have had many positive posts from those who are willing to help. For that, I am so very grateful.
