Our dear friend, Kelly, has been diagnosed with Stage 2 HER-positive breast cancer. Her insurance deductibles are $9k in addition to her monthly premium and copayments, and she’s already spent $7k before beginning treatment just to get diagnosed. Insurance will reset in January, requiring her to spend another $9k out of pocket.

Kelly has a long road ahead of her, with 10 chemo sessions, followed by a month of daily radiation, before surgery. Kelly lives and supports herself independently and does not have a secondary income. To ease her mind and allow her to focus solely on fighting cancer, we’re asking for donations to help her cover her medical bills.
