My name is Khaila Holman and I am raising funds for emergency expenses, long term care and any unexpected medical costs for our family. On August 7th, our precious daughter Kai, suffered a serious medical emergency and was rushed to the hospital. Kai suffered multiple seizures and was in a coma for a period of time. She was transferred by air to the Illinois Children’s hospital OFS in Peoria IL. Unfortunately, doctors discovered a tumor on her pituitary gland in her brain. She now requires surgery to be followed by continuous treatment. Just a few days ago she was dancing and playing and we were planning her 7th birthday party. Now she is in the hospital fighting for her life. Her father and I are with her every step of the journey. This unexpected life event is causing us to be off work and incur a great amount of unexpected costs. I am grateful for any support, every little bit helps. Kai will need out of state therapy, per her doctors, and we plan to travel with her, which will also have a great financial impact.
